Another victory for Fairbank saw them get the full three points against an outplayed a good Eccleshill team.

The scoring opened almost immediately as Hussain’s mazy run down the wing saw his cross pick out Yacoob in the centre, who controlled the ball before backheeling it  into the net! Eccleshill equalised soon after with a wonderful individual goal.

Fairbank then hit back, as Wahab’s goalbound shot hit Yacoob’s back and just looped over the line despite the Eccleshill keeper’s efforts to keep it out. The intensive opening to the game continued as the play swung from one end to another. Another shot from Wahab saw Haris stretch and divert it into the net. Haris continued his current hot scoring streak by completing his hat trick.

The second half saw Fairbank continue to press. Hussain’s hard work was rewarded as he completed a good all round game by converting two goals. The final goal saw Fairbank string together an excellent passing move with a wonderfully taken goal by Zubair
